Photogrammetry — 3D from photos
From photos to accurate 3D models, orthophotos and meshes — for objects and terrain of any size.
Photogrammetry builds a 3D model from many overlapping photos. From common points across the images the software reconstructs geometry and texture, so ordinary photos (from the air or the ground) become a measurable 3D model, orthophoto or mesh.
When to use it
What photogrammetry is best for
- ✓Facades and objects: high-resolution photorealistic texture hard to achieve with laser alone.
- ✓Terrain and sites: orthophoto, digital terrain model, progress and volume tracking.
- ✓Cultural heritage: faithful 3D documentation of monuments and artefacts.
- ✓Large or hard-to-reach objects: drone capture with no scaffolding or work stoppage.

What you get
Input
Overlapping photos from the air (drone) and/or the ground 〔equipment: [FILL IN — drone/camera]〕; ground control points (GCP) for geo-reference where needed.
Output
A textured 3D model (OBJ, glTF), mesh, orthophoto and digital terrain model 〔+ [FILL IN: formats]〕.
Accuracy
Centimetre to millimetre, depending on GSD, equipment and control points 〔typical: [FILL IN — e.g. "GSD X cm/px"]〕.
Case example
〔[FILL IN: project name]〕
〔[FILL IN: short description — object/terrain, task, result in 2–3 sentences. Left blank until a real project is added.]〕
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Photogrammetry or laser scanning?
Laser is stronger for precise interiors and low-light spaces; photogrammetry for texture, facades and large exterior surfaces. We often combine them.
Do you need a drone?
For roofs, facades and terrain yes; for smaller objects ground photos are enough.
Which formats do you deliver?
OBJ, glTF, orthophoto, digital terrain model 〔+ [FILL IN]〕.
How accurate is it?
cm–mm depending on GSD and control points; we give an estimate up front.
Have an object to capture in 3D?
Send the location and object type — we suggest the method (drone/ground), formats and timeline.
